A half year with the planets

Betul Turksoy, taken from Kayseri, Türkiye

The changing sky positions of Venus, Saturn, and Mercury — along with the Moon and Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan‑ATLAS) — are captured in this composite spanning October 2024 to March 2025. The analemma-like arcs reflect orbital geometry and elongations at dusk. The photographer used a Sony a7R II mirrorless camera and Samyang 18mm f/2.8 lens.
