In the July 2015 issue of Astronomy, author Alan Goldstein described the many dark nebula that lie along a section of the Milky Way called the Great Rift.

Of course, thousands of objects worthy of your attention lie in this area. We didn’t have room for even a fraction of them in the story, so here are a dozen more that we know you’ll enjoy.
