There’s skill and art involved in taking great pictures of the deep sky using a telescope as your camera’s lens. But there are cheaper and easier ways to capture the night sky. In the previous articles in this series, author Michael A. Covington walked you through the logistics of purchasing a camera suitable for astrophotography, capturing images with a basic camera-on-tripod setup, and, most recently, piggyback astroimaging.
