A crescent at sea

The Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888) lies in a rich sea of hydrogen in Cygnus in this image taken with a 2-inch refractor and a one-shot color camera. The nebula was sculpted by the winds of a star belonging to the rare Wolf-Rayet set of hot and massive stars.
