How does the “Planets this month” foldout map work? I don’t see any time given for the map, unlike the circular star map on the following page.

When you look at a globe, you can see only a part of the whole — and what you see depends on your viewing angle. The circular star map shows only the portion of the sky visible during evening hours from middle-northern latitudes.
