It’s time again to celebrate the cosmos!
National Astronomy Day 2007, held this year Saturday, April 21, gives astronomy-lovers a chance to share their passion with the astronomy-curious. Clubs, planetaria, observatories, and museums will host public viewing events, telescope workshops, hands-on activities, and presentations to increase awareness about the profession and hobby.
Astronomy magazine and Meade 4M reunite with astronomy organizations throughout the country for the year’s biggest star party.
In this week’s show, Meade Instruments’ Scott Roberts looks at the history of the day and events around the United States with Senior Editor Michael Bakich and the Astronomical League’s Terry Mann.
