The Oct. 14 annular eclipse is captured in this composite over Pueblo Bonito, the largest structure at Chaco Culture National Historical Park. The great house was built by the Ancestral Puebloans between A.D. 850 and A.D. 1150 and incorporates their knowledge of solar and lunar cycles.
