A pair of open clusters dot the swirling dust lanes of the Milky Way in this shot: the Ptolemy Cluster (M7; in the lower third of the image, just right of center) and the Butterfly Cluster (M6; above and to the right of M7, standing out against the dark background. This image is 22 one-minute frames taken with a Nikon D750 and a 135mm lens at f/2.8 and ISO 1600.
