1) Number one would be an ongoing thing — public outreach, in the form of my participation in public star parties. I already do this several times each year, but I would like to try to get involved in activities on April 2–5 (dates selected by the International Year of Astronomy [IYA] for 100 Hours of Astronomy) and the week of April 27–May 3 (the 2009 dates for Astronomy Week).
