The other night, I dropped in on my astronomy club, the Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston. From there, I traveled 30 miles southward to the Amateur Astronomical Society of Rhode Island (the Skyscrapers) and then trekked to the West Coast to visit the Los Angeles Astronomical Society. How was I able to conduct this cross-country tour in a single evening?
