Hailey Rose McLaughlin grew up in a small town in rural Wisconsin, but her imagination was always taking her to far-off places. She began jotting her stories down, fueling a love of writing that stuck with her. It was only natural that when she decided to go to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she would major in Creative Writing and Journalism. Her love of writing has now spanned across different genres including creative non-fiction, news, art and culture, music, and currently, astronomy. When she’s not learning about the cosmos, she’s seeing her favorite bands in her favorite city, Milwaukee, snowboarding, traveling, or trying out a new recipe.
