In this episode, Astronomy magazine Editor Dave Eicher invites you to head out sometime soon and observe the great globular cluster M22 in the constellation Sagittarius the Archer. From a dark site on a moonless night, most observers can just pick out this object with their naked eyes. But its real glory is revealed when you point a telescope at it. Use as high a magnification as the steadiness of the air allows and you’ll see hundreds of its brighter stars. Good luck!
