The Squid Nebula (Ou4), the Flying Bat Nebula (Sharpless 2–129), and the Seahorse Nebula (Barnard 150) feature in this wide-field vista. The shot captures the faint oxygen emission of the Squid, the reddish hydrogen emission of the Flying Bat, and the dark, shadowy dust of the Seahorse — as well as the faint dust that permeates the entire scene. The imager took 86.8 hours of exposure with a 2-inch scope in Hα/OIII/LRGB filters.
