The Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds stands majestically above Uluru in Australia’s Northern Territory; in the foreground lies Field of Light, an installation created by the artist Bruce Munro. The photographer used a Sony astromodified mirrorless camera to take 12 sky exposures of 300 seconds at f/2.8 and ISO 800; separate ground exposures were blended to create this composite.
