Across 2025 and early 2026, Saturn and Neptune traced near-synchronous retrograde loops in Pisces and Aquarius, with their oppositions falling just two days apart (Sept. 21 and 23, respectively). This composite records those motions, combining dozens of short exposures taken roughly weekly from May 9, 2025, to Feb. 25, 2026. The photographer took individual frames of 2 to 3.2 seconds at ISO 800 through a 135mm f/3.5 lens, then aligned them to a master panorama built from eighteen 20-second exposures taken at f/5 and ISO 6400.
