This image shows a prtion of the M23 field imaged by the Luther College team. Seven of the observed variable stars are marked. LCV22 and LCV24 are eclipsing binaries with stellar surfaces in contact. LCV15 is an eclipsing binary system with the stars well separated. Note that this star appears as 17505-1851.7 in the ASAS-3 catalog. LCV13, LCV20, LCV21, and LCV30 are long period pulsating stars.
