You're cut off. Stellar populations typically follow a pattern with the least-massive stars being greatly more numerous than heftier ones. When astronomer Donald Figer plotted this graph for the Arches cluster, he expected to find several extremely massive stars. Instead, he discovered none weighing more than 150 Suns.
