This preliminary map provides a glimpse of many potential point sources of cosmic neutrinos. Because AMANDA "observes" the northern sky, only that half of the sky is mapped. Unveiled in July 2003 at a meeting of the International Astronomical Union in Sydney, Australia, the map represents an analysis of one year of AMANDA data.
