On June 11, 2005, supporters of the Miami Museum of Science and Space Planetarium and friends of Jack Horkheimer celebrated his 67th birthday on Star Gazer Day. Jack was honored at a gala dinner and presented with a lifetime achievement award in recognition of his 38-year career with the museum.
