This outtake from D1, one of the Deep survey frames, measures 8' square, or roughly 2 percent of the whole image. More than half a million galaxies swarm together in the full frame, which is centered on R.A. 2h26m Dec. -4°30' (2000.0). The field lies in the tail of Cetus.
