Neptune reaches opposition this month, giving it the year’s biggest and brightest appearance. The worlds shines at a relatively bright magnitude of 7.8 and should be easy to spot through binoculars or a telescope. Through an 11-inch telescope, this imager captured the most distant planet and its moon Triton.
