Spiral galaxy NGC 3628 is the faintest member of the Leo Triplet (M65, M66, and NGC 3628). A band of dark, dusty clouds lies along the galaxy's equator. The largest negatively-charged molecule in space was discovered in the envelope of a giant star in the constellation Leo.
