The star-forming region known as NGC 7129 resembles a Valentine's Day rosebud in this image from the Spitzer Space Telescope. The rosy pink hue is produced by glowing dust grains, while hot carbon monoxide molecules provide the green glow of the "stem." Our own Sun probably formed in a star cluster like this one.
