Mars Phoenix lander captured this image June 5, 2008 — its 11th day on the Red Planet. This view shows two trenches, Dodo (left) and Baby Bear (right), dug by the lander's robotic arm. Dodo was a test dig, but Baby Bear was collected as an analysis sample.
