Group dedicated to promoting Amateur research and observing projects. Principle activity is CCD photometry using AAPA Astrograph - 14.5" f/4.5 newtonian combined with 6" f/8 refractor and 5" f/8 refractor all mounted on a single pier equatorial with 2" shafts with motorized RA and Dec ( still in process of completing drive). Both a Starlight express HX516 336,000 pixel CCD camera and a starlight express 1.2 mega pixel SXV H9 CCD camera are available. UBVRI photometric filter set as well as Swan Band - C2 ,OIII , H beta, H alpha , H gamma and a Comet filter a Nitrogen filter 336 nm narrow band filters. A 1.5 focal reducer and other optics available - a 4 inch f/5 refractor , a 3" f/6 refractor 12x 80 , 7x 50 and 7x 40 zoom binoculars.
2" Televue 22 mm, Nagler 13 mm, 32 mm erfles , 32 mm orthoscopc homemade 65 mm , 13 mm, 20 mm plossols (2") 1.25 " 7,10,20,26 and 40 mm plossls.
Holographic grating - 20 mm x 5 mm available for building a spectro graph
