Description
The Emerald Coast Science Center is very active in astronomy, conducting star gazes for local schools with its array of telescopes including 12" Meade Lightbridge Dobs, 8" Vixen VC200L on a Vixen Sphix mount and an 8" Meade LX-200 GPS SCT. It also has a computer powered laserstar portable planetarium by Digitalis, the only one in the state of Florida. In addition, the museum is very active in astrophotography - www.ecscience.org/photos
