AKAT Amateur Astronomy Group
The group was started in 1997 . The people whom interest
Amateur Astronomy came together and started this activity.
The members have differents professions . (Electric Engineers,
Electronic Engineer, Computer Engineer , Doctor, Chemisrty, Astronom,
Biologist, Economist....like that)

From now on it's only Turkish version .
The group is located in Istanbul. We are make meeting every month on sunday.
In summer we make weekend observary camp in see side.
The group members have different telescopes and minecolars
We follow daily/month astronomy activity .
Our group was attended solar eclipse activity two times in Türkiye.
First was done 12/8/1999 in Osmancık. Second was done 29/03/2006 in Side
Every astronomy related people can attend our groups. There is no limit.
