Commemorating the 20th anniversary of the first scientific observations made by the revolutionary Keck I Telescope, the W.M. Keck Observatory will launch Keck Week 2013 on Thursday, March 14th, 2013 at the Fairmont Orchid, HI with their "20th Anniversary Science Meeting" and end the week of celebration on March 19th, 2013 traveling to various astronomy education centers on the Big Island. These events will celebrate the Observatory’s unprecedented legacy of astronomical discoveries, trailblazing technologies, renowned scientist, and enthusiastic supports.
