Get set for The 29th Annual Winter Star Party which is scheduled from February 4 - 10, 2013 on "Scout Key" in the lower Florida Keys. Astrophotographers and amateur astronomers often bring their families from across the U.S. and around the globe to make it a truly international event. Southern winter skies are a real treat for our Northern friends whilst wearing t-shirt, shorts and flip-flops!
The always special 6 day long Winter Star Party includes vendors promoting their latest products for amateur astronomy, nationally recognized guest speakers, a popular "Young Astronomer Camp", mirror-grinding lessons, the ever popular door prize giveaway on Friday afternoon and much more! Registration / information available online. Take advantage of early registration. Tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you wish to be placed on our mailing list for 2014 please contact our registrars. Please note that attendees that have not attended for 2 or more years are removed from our mailing list, and will need to re-list in order to obtain future mailings.
