Central Florida’s Star-Studded Event – DARK SKY FESTIVAL 2013

HARMONY, FL – Saturday, February 2, 2013 the Town of Harmony, the largest Green Certified Community in Central Florida, will be hosting the 10th Annual Dark Sky Festival. Admission will be free and is open to the public. This year they are expecting 7,000 to 10,000 attendees, as each year the attendance has grown greatly!

The Dark Sky Festival educates the public on the importance of dark skies for astronomy and wildlife, as well as educating them on space and science in general. Astronomers of all ages and levels have enjoyed and learned a thing or two at the Dark Sky Festival in years past. With special guests from NASA, former astronauts, large numbers of telescopes scanning the heavens, planetarium shows, and more; this Festival has made its mark in the Central Florida area. This 10th year of the Dark Sky Festival will bring more special guests, lots of surprises and interactive activities like never before. Bring the entire family out to Harmony on February 2, 2013; you do not want to miss out on this star-studded event!
