The first solar system minerals
Mineralogists so far have discovered the following 11 minerals in presolar grains.

In the November 2012 issue of Astronomy, world-renowned mineralogist Jolyon Ralph wrote, “Did life change Earth’s geology?” The author talked about the first minerals that formed within grains of material that predate the solar system’s formation. But didn’t have room for a list of these minerals in the magazine.
