In the November 2010 issue of Astronomy, I wrote the story "Darkness over Easter Island." In it, I described leading a group of approximately 40 intrepid souls through Bolivia and Chile, and then to our destination on Easter Island, where we watched the July 11, 2010 total solar eclipse.
