When Glenn Chaple wrote a monthly column about double stars for Deep Sky Monthly in the late 1970s, he drew out the accompanying star maps. This sketch pictures the double stars for Scorpius.

In my August column, I wrote about the double stars of Scorpius and the best double star resources to help you with your observing. Writing the column reminded me of a time many years ago when I wrote another column about Scorpius doubles.
