| Here's a 3-minute promotional teaser for Timothy Ferris' film about amateur astronomy, Seeing in the Dark. The program premieres on the Public Broadcasting Service September 19. In this promo, amateur astronomers talk about their feelings for stargazing and the sky itself. Note that, in the first scene of the promo, Ferris rolls back the cover on an observatory in the Sonoma Hills of California. That's his personal observatory, housing an 18-inch Newtonian reflector. |
