Here at the world's most-read astronomy publication, we get lots of questions from readers, visitors to our web site, and others. Some questions, however, we seem to answer over and over. To help you answer those questions as thoroughly and as quickly as possible, we've created this section. This is where we set the record straight about popular misconceptions, hearsay, and rumors — all related to astronomy.

Please note that this section is a work in progress rather than a finished product. As we identify more fallacies and errors related to astronomy, we'll post the factual explanations here.
