Currently on newsstands, the November issue examines the secret lives of black holes, finds who will save us from a killer asteroid, shows you how to observe variable stars, and tests Park Opticals' Astrolight reflectors. This issue also features the story of "The priest, the universe and the big bang." by Yael Naze. This examines Georges Lemaitre, a Belgian priest who anticipated modern cosmology's fundamental ideas. In this week's show, Astronomy Senior Editor Francis Reddy, who worked with Naze on this article.
