In June, the University of Chicago announced its intent to sell historic Yerkes Observatory to Mirbeau Corporation, a New York-based company that specializes in resorts. Mirbeau hopes to build a spa, hotel, and nearly 70 homes on the observatory grounds in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Will the Village Board allow the plan to go forward?

Kyle Cudworth, the only full-time faculty member performing research at Yerkes, give us an update on the pending sale and programs ongoing at Yerkes.
