Description
Rocky Mountain Star Stare is an annual premiere star party sponsored by the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society. RMSS is held at the Society's personally owned 35 acres of spectacular mountain view property. RMSS's "Starry Meadows" is located just outside of Gardner, CO between the Sangre de Cristo and Wet mountain ranges, at an altitude of 7,612 feet above sea level with crystal clear blue skies. The location is about 2 hours by car Southwest of Colorado Springs.

Directions
From Colorado Springs:
Go south on I-25 towards Walsenburg. Just past the Huerfano “Volcano”, take Exit 56 and turn right on Redrocks Rd to go West. Red Rocks Rd will “T” into Hwy 69; turn right at the “T” and head north on Hwy 69. Follow hwy 69 for 20 mi to Gardner, follow the RMSS signs.
