I've used a couple LP filters that remove broad bands in order to relieve the gradients that LP causes in photos, but these filters also remove so much of the green/yellow/orange spectrum as to result in colorcasts.
The IDAS, which seems to be one of the more popular LP filters among active imagers, reduces this effect. Maybe the reduced width of the individual bandstop "cuts", centered on the various lighting emssion lines, is what minimizes the color casting.
I've used nothing but the IDAS for the last couple of years, and it does work well (my LP toward the south is particularly bad, city light dome to SE, neighbor's swimming pool lights to S, and their horse stable light to SW, a real mess w/o filtering) .
