Jeremy McGovern, Assistant Editor
<i>Astronomy</i> staff
Originally from Indianapolis, Jeremy graduated from Purdue University, where he majored in English and history and studied astronomy. Following graduation, he worked at C-SPAN and, through osmosis, picked up what he calls "an excessive knowledge of Congress." Jeremy then moved to Philadelphia, where he got his start in publishing. Jeremy joined Astronomy's staff to work on the magazine's web site. Throughout his career, Jeremy also has written for a number of magazines and newspapers, primarily covering music, cinema, and social issues.

In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys bicycling, films, photography, and travel. He especially enjoys music and is an avid record collector.
