Re-tour Galileo's Italy

Experience the life of the great astronomer.
St. Mary's Hall
Harriot studied in St. Mary's Hall, once part of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Oxford. St. Mary's Hall is now part of Oriel College.
Dan Falk
In the April 2010 issue of Astronomy, author Dan Falk introduces us to English scientist Thomas Harriot. In the early 17th century, Harriot made observations similar to some made by Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei. The observations have led some historians to refer to Harriot as "England's Galileo."
