The annual Perseid meteor shower is typically one of the best of the year. In 2010, this shower should look great because it peaks under a moonless sky Thursday night, August 12, and Friday morning August 13. You'll see the brightest meteors easily, and from a dark site you'll also count quite a few faint shooting stars.
